Goals

The goals of Creative Interventions are to:

♦ Build the capacity of everyday people and communities to end and prevent interpersonal violence

♦ Create solutions to violence based upon and promoting self-determination, collective action, and liberation

♦ Shift the anti-violence movement away from individualized social services and criminalization towards community-based responses to violence

Objectives

The objectives of Creative Interventions are to:

♦ Create accessible models and tools to build the capacity of everyday people and communities to end and prevent interpersonal violence

♦ Evaluate these models and tools to make sure that they meet the goals and match the values of Creative Interventions

♦ Document models and tools in accessible language and formats

♦ Make these models and tools widely available
